Dee Keogh is a writer from Dublin. She shares what she came to appreciate when back in her childhood home in Dublin during the Covid-19 lockdown. Dee Keogh is a committed and vocal advocate of social and equality issues and has delivered a number of self-improvement initiatives, including the Equality for Women Measure. A facilitator of the STEPS personal and professional development course, addiction counsellor, psychotherapist and mentor. Dee is a writer of polemical drama, social fiction and gender discourse, and is currently finalizing a number of scripts, and has completed her debut show, ‘Why I Haven’t Met Oprah Yet. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
